Martin Guest has more than 25 years of legal experience with the regulation of Canadian financial services and investment management firms.  He was the chief counsel at Fidelity Investments Canada from 1994 to 2007. Subsequently, he joined Torys LLP, as a Partner in the Managed Assets Practice Group. Most recently, Martin served as SVP, General Counsel Canada at Manulife, where he was responsible for all legal and compliance activities for its Canadian Division, including investments, banking, group benefits, insurance, and pensions.  In addition to his legal qualifications, Martin holds the CFA and ICD.D designations.
